Installation

Requirements

Decky Loader


Quick Setup

Visit this page on SteamOS "Desktop Mode"

Copy the "MHOnDeck UI Theme" installer script:

Open the Konsole app (Start Menu > System) and hit the "Enter" key

Wait for the UI Theme to install



Manual Setup

Download the "MHOnDeck UI Theme":

  • MHOnDeck UI Theme

OR

  • MHOnDeck CSS Theme
  • MHOnDeck SFX Pack

Right-click and extract the contents of the downloaded file into the following folder:

/home/deck/homebrew

The final result should look like:

/home/deck/homebrew/sounds and /home/deck/homebrew/themes

Finalizing

Start "Steam Big Picture Mode" or "Gaming Mode" (On SteamOS)

Open the Quick Access Menu (QAM) using the "..." button (on Steam Deck) or "Ctrl + 2" keys

Navigate to Decky (Plug-shaped icon) > "Decky Store" (top-right Shop-icon)

Search for and install "CSS Loader" and "Audio Loader"

Return to Decky > CSS Loader > Enable "MHOnDeck CSS Theme"

Return to Decky > Audio Loader > Enable "MHOnDeck SFX Pack"

Uninstall

MHOnDeck UI Theme

Delete the following folders:

SteamOS

  • "/home/deck/homebrew/themes/MHOnDeck CSS Theme"
  • "/home/deck/homebrew/sounds/MHOnDeck SFX Pack"

Windows

  • "%USERPROFILE%/homebrew/themes/MHOnDeck CSS Theme"
  • "%USERPROFILE%/homebrew/sounds/MHOnDeck SFX Pack"

Refresh "CSS Loader" and "Audio Loader" (or restart SteamOS/Steam Big Picture Mode)
